I worked all day long on my swaps for Convention in July. I did make a few prototypes, but as the day went on, I must have changed my mind a thousand times. It's so hard to firgure out what accessories and DP will be retiring. Well I took a break and made a card from a DP that I love, but I'm afraid will be discontinued - hope you like it.
I used the Summer Picnic DP from the Occasions Mini Catalog 2008. Stamp Set: SU Tart & Tangy, Happy Everything Ink: Only Orange and Black. Cardstock: Old Olive, Whisper White and Bashful Blue. 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon. Crystal Effects was used tomake the orange slice shiney.
This card was my swap for my Card Club last Thursday
I used the new SU stamp set - Fresh Cuts and the new "laser cut" note cards. I embossed white on So Safron Card Stock. I added a flower punched out on Old Olive Card Stock. The ribbon is Old Olive Twill. I used SU linen thread on the button with a glue dot to keep in place. The "Thank You" was stamped in Old Olive Ink.
