Hello Everyone
I know I haven't blogged in along time, but I won't bore you with the details of why I haven't, let's just say I wasn't feeling up to it. But I have something really interesting to post today. I belong to a few Yahoo groups and they have been having some wonderful and different swaps. I joined a paper doll swap over at the Altered_stART group. Take a look at my four dolls. There are just so sweet.
I took a Suziblu class to learn how to paint faces, so I used that technique to paint the face. I used a Deco Art Varnish (gloss) over the face to seal it. Decorative scrapbook paper was used for the body and arms. Prima flowers and leaves were used for sleeves and background flowers. I had some old lace that I used for the cuffs. Brads and buttons were used for the movable arms and legs which were made from a rubber stamp which I purchased from Stampington & Company. The decorative hats are from the women A.T.C. Collection at www.leisurearts.com I also used some of Martha Stewart's Glitter for their shoes. Other embellishment I had lying around were thrown on for good measure. I hope you enjoy them.
